Pulizia della camera, posizione centrale,aspetto molto gradevole della struttura.

Camere non uniformi , I nostri amici hanno avuto una camera molto bella noi una piccola ,sottotetto e buia. Staff poco disponibile e poco esperto . Cambio asciugamani dopo 3 giorni.

Posizione eccellente nel cuore della old town, in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiunge il castello e la new town. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La colazione continentale è nella media, quella calda un po' deludente, ma appena fuori l'albergo ci sono molti cafè. Ci tornei sicuramente

Massima pulizia, interni bellissimi e ottima posizione.

Un po' di confusione con la colazione e probabilmente sarebbe preferibile un po' più di scelta.

Durante il mio pernottamento ho potuto constatare che l 'Edinburgh city hotel è un buonissimo 3 stelle, comodo, con buona posizione, non è affatto rumoroso e la struttura è molto piacevole.

L'unico inconveniente si è verificato alla fine del mio soggiorno, in quanto non c'era personale alla reception e non mi hanno fatto trovare pronto il taxi come avevo richiesto il giorno prima; quindi devo dire che in questo caso lo staff dell'hotel è stato carente, anche perché è impensabile che si lasci vuota la reception.

Camere belle e pulite, posizione centrale a 10 minuti dal castello.

Avevamo prenotato 4 camere di cui 3 pagate subito perché a tariffa promozionale e una da pagare in loco. In reception non avevano ben chiara questa situazione e volevano farci pagare anche quelle già pagate. Situazione risolta con un po' di fatica e con qualche addebito/riaccredito di troppo (e conseguenti commissioni visa aggiuntive che ci sono rimaste sul groppone).

Disponibilità personale, posizione abbastanza centrale, pulizia in generale, silenzioso.

L'ho trovato molto confortevole negli arredi e molto pulito,accogliente!

Rooms were comfortable and soundproof, experienced no noises from other guests. Friendly staff and the food was great

We were a group of six friends and we really enjoyed our stay thank you. I forgot my charger and someone at reception let me charge my phone on theirs which was very useful. We had a great breakfast and a comfortable sleep and the room was nice and clean.

One of the rooms 407 did not have a mirror on the dressing table so we had to keep taking the lirror off the wall to dry our hair. Although the room was clean it did smell a bit funny - like stale smoke - we were not in it for that long so it didnt bother us that much.

Location good Room was large and bed was comfortable Staff very helpful and friendly We paid extra for breakfast £7 each and the choice and quality was very good We would definitely stay again

No on site parking Shower pressure could have been better

If you are looking for a Hotel that is good value,serves good food,provides excellent friendly service and is a great location for the Castle/Royal Mile/Grassmarket/Bus Stops then look no further than the Edinburgh City Hotel! You really will not be disappointed. This was our first visit but if we ever go back to Edinburgh then we would definitely stay here again.

Historical building a few minutes walk (uphill!) to the Castle and Royal Mile. Room very comfortable and bathroom spacious. A great base for a week's stay in Edinburgh. Nicely done refurbishment of a former maternity hospital. Definitely would stay there again!

Would have been great to have more storage space for clothes such as a chest of drawers. There was a nice closet with a few hangers, but not quite enough for the length of stay.
